A charity organization is seeking a Centre Administrator for their Hertfordshire Centre. The role involves welcoming visitors, handling inquiries, and managing administrative tasks to support animal welfare efforts. Applicants should have experience in customer service or administration and a passion for animal welfare. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and organizational abilities, with a foundation in using office software and database systems.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the National Animal Welfare Trust’s team at our Hertfordshire Centre as a Centre Administrator.
You will be working for a charity that never stops caring for its animals and people. We believe every pet deserves a chance to thrive in a loving home. Across our five rescue and rehoming centres across the south of England, we care for homeless and unwanted cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs - helping them find the families they’ve been waiting for.
Location:NAWT Hertfordshire, Tylers Way, Watford-By-Pass, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD25 8WT
Hours: 24 hours per week, working weekends on a rota basis
Salary:£12.21 per hour
Closing Date: 14th September 2025
You will provide a friendly and professional first point of contact for all visitors, callers, and adopters at the rescue and rehoming centre. The Centre Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily administrative operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a busy reception.
