Personal Assistant

GENERAL INFORMATION

I am a young male with downs syndrome living in the Llanedeyrn area of Cardiff. I am looking for a relief personal assistant to accompany me to attend activities of my choice. I enjoy music, dance, and walks. I attend youth club and enjoy going out for meals. I like going to the theater and attending music venues.

PLACE OF WORK

Out in the community.

HOURS OF WORK

8 hours per week and relief work to cover annual leave and sickness.

RATE OF PAY

£14.60 per hour
Bank Holiday paid x1.5

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

• Accompany me to places of my choice.
• Assist me with daily tasks.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
