Hours: 08:00-18:00, 3 or 4 days, inc. weekends and Bank Holidays

About the Role

You will provide nutritious and delicious food for residents, maintaining high standards of food and Bovendien hygiene and health and safety

Key Responsibilities ताकि>
  • Responsible for the management, ordering, receipting, storage and safe delivery of catering services to the establishment including Special Diets, Allergens and multi-cultural meals
  • Purchase and control food and other materials in accordance with agreed procedures and cost controls, including stock takes, plate counts and checking daily meal numbers
  • Ensure that financial targets are met
  • Prepare, provide and serve meals as per the agreed menu and ensure that relevant supporting staff are trained to produce meals to the same high standard
  • Formulate staff duty rotas to always ensure adequate cover, in order to maintain an efficient and economic service and avoid unnecessary costs
  • Continually review work procedures to ensure the most effective methods are being used
  • Provide catering for special functions as required
About You
  • Able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety System
  • Able to communicate effectively, motivate and lead a team
  • Experience in catering and relevant experience at Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor level
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Food Preparation and Cooking
