A regional healthcare organization in Doncaster is seeking a Catering Assistant - Driver to join their catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering meals to patients, adhering strictly to food hygiene standards. You will assist in meal preparation, serve customers, and maintain high hygiene levels. Relevant qualifications in food safety and good communication skills are essential. The post-holder will work as part of the catering team to provide ancillary services directly to patients, service users, and customers by preparing, cooking and portioning a range of nutritionally sound, palatable and safe meals, using traditional and cook freeze methods of catering.
A range of duties are covered from the start of the food preparation service through to the delivery to point of use, serving, cleaning and managing stock levels in line with legislative and local policy and procedures.
The post holder will distribute patient meals to service users across the Trust using Trust vehicles.
