About the Role

Our client is seeking a Long-Term Catering Assistant to join their team in Torquay. This is an immediate start position with ongoing work. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, serving, and general kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Cold food preparation
• Operating the till (training provided)
• Washing up and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• Serving food to staff and students

Requirements

• Previous experience in cold food preparation
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
• No DBS required (you will be escorted on site)
• Must provide and wear:
  • Long-sleeved black shirt
  • Black trousers
  • Black steel toe-capped shoes (mandatory – entry will be refused without these)

Additional Information

• This is a term-time role with a break over the Christmas period.
• Candidates must be reliable and available for the full duration of the booking.
