Overview

Temple Hill Primary Academy are looking for a hardworking, flexible member of staff to join their Catering Team as a Catering Assistant.

The post will be for 7.5 hours per week, 11:15 am – 1 pm per day, Monday to Friday, for 38 weeks per year. You will be paid £24,513 full‑time equivalent, with an actual pro‑rata salary of £4,220.26 per year.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be. You will work in our kitchens providing extra support and covering absences.

Your duties will be varied, including basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and washing up while helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

Qualifications & Expectations

Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants seeking a better work life balance and greater flexibility.

As a very important member of our team, you will be expected to undertake training which will be paid for, and we will provide you with uniform.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable.
