A local healthcare provider in Walsall is seeking Casual Senior Practitioners (AMHP) to join their 24-hour rota on an ad-hoc basis. Candidates must hold an AMHP qualification and demonstrate relevant post-qualification experience. The role requires working unsociable hours, including weekends and nights, with training provided on systems. G10: £47,181 - £50,269 pro-rata to hours worked.
We are looking for Casual Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) to join the 24‑hour rota in Walsall on an ad‑hoc basis. You will need to already hold an AMHP qualification and have post‑qualification experience. Ideally you will be working as an AMHP currently and be approved by a Local Authority.
You will need to demonstrate the autonomy and independence of the AMHP role, ensuring all referrals are considered. We have recently updated our AMHP forms to adopt a section 13 approach.
You will be working unsociable hours and will receive an unsociable hours enhancement. If covering a weekend, bank holiday or night shift you will be lone working. You will be required to travel around Walsall to fulfil this role. Full training will be given on systems and ways of working.
