• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours is required.

We are now recruiting for LGV Drivers on a Casual basis at our Newton Abbot site.

Salary:

Days:

• Basic rate: Monday - Friday £13.05
• Overtime: Monday - Friday on completion of 50 hours per week & Saturdays £15.66
• Sundays & Bank Holidays £19.58

Nights:

• Basic rate: Monday - Friday £13.91
• Overtime: Monday - Friday on completion of 50 hours per week & Saturdays £16.69
• Sundays & Bank Holidays £20.87

Shifts:

• Various AM and PM starts.

Job Description

In your role as a Casual LGV Driver, you will be operating refrigerated articulated vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as Farms and Packhouses across the UK.

Qualifications:

• Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence
• Current CPC
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
