Job Responsibilities
  • Enhancing and maintaining SOS scripts, functionality, and integrations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving scripting issues raised via help desk logs.
  • Designing and specifying solutions for system enhancements requested by the business.
  • Developing solutions using SOS Legal's bespoke IDE (and external tools where needed).
  • Creating and maintaining document precedent templates tailored to user needs.
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure maintainability, security, and coding standards.
  • Identifying and tackling technical debt proactively.
  • Coordinating testing of solutions with the right stakeholders.
  • Handling case management admin (new users, permissions, branches).
  • Supporting end users with queries and issues, ensuring smooth system usage.
  • Collaborating with and covering team members when required.
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs, and accounting requirements. Experience with legal case management systems, workflows, or low‑code platforms.
