JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Carpenter / Joiner with previous hands-on experience performing high standard carpentry / joinery, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings.

As a Carpenter / Joiner, you will be responsible for installing furniture, fittings, plumbing, and other key components, ensuring every boat is built to the highest standards.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Precision Installation: Scribe, trim, and adjust furniture to perfection; fit hardware including port holes, locks, handles, and hatches
  • Plumbing & Fixtures: Install sinks, toilets, holding tanks, and showers with precision
  • Fittings & Customization: Fit canopies, hard tops, and air-con trunking. Create custom patterns for bespoke units
  • Final Touches: Handle final installations and sign off on boat files for compliance
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide less experienced team members
  • Material Management: Safeguard materials and products on-site
  • Creative Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on, adapting to overcome build obstacles and improve efficiency
