Opportunity at Care Computers

Care Computers, a leading Microsoft Partner based in Windsor, has been providing IT consultancy, support, professional services, and solutions to SMB/SME clients in the Thames Valley since 1993. We are seeking an Account Manager to manage our existing client base and support our growth.

Most new business comes through referrals due to our reputation and long-standing presence in the industry and region, though some new business development may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new and existing clients, build rapport, establish trust, and communicate Care Computers' value as an IT partner.
  • Understand client requirements, collaborate with the technical team to design solutions, deliver proposals, and communicate benefits via phone, email, online demos, and on-site meetings.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and manage customer accounts accordingly.
  • Negotiate pricing, assist with business cases, and process sales upon approval.
  • Ensure the quality and delivery of your projects, providing excellent after-sales service to foster long-term relationships.
  • Handle customer complaints, escalations, and issues professionally.
  • Provide high-quality service to all clients.
What We Are Looking For
  • A confident, outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in IT Sales with knowledge of business IT solutions.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM, Helpdesk, and accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, punctuality, and good time management.
  • Local candidates in East Berkshire are preferred.
  • A full driving license is advantageous for client visits.
