A caring home service provider in Long Eaton is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide support to elderly clients in their homes. You will assist with daily care, meals, medication, and help clients manage their appointments. This role requires a friendly, reliable individual with a genuine desire to help people. Our Home Carer Assistants work with elderly people who live in their own homes and may need just a small amount of support e.g. help with shopping or companionship through to care visits with one or two carers several times per day.

In order to do the job well you need to have a caring nature, be flexible and organised in your work, enjoying taking on responsibility and making a real difference to other people's lives. Carers travel between our client's homes according to their rota and stay different lengths of time with each client depending on what their care needs are. One call may be to prepare a light lunch for a client and give them their medication and then next call may be to take a client to a doctors appointment or to the hairdresser. The work varies day to day and hour to hour and whilst you are doing this you are creating relationships with some of the most fantastic people in our society - the older generation.
