Job summary

A domiciliary care provider is seeking care support workers in the Tees Valley area. Responsibilities include assisting with health care tasks, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household duties. Applicants must reside in the UK and have a valid right to work. Previous care experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

• Provide personal care such as hygiene assistance.
• Prepare and serve meals for service users.
• Support household duties and maintain client confidentiality.
• Maintain records of client progress and report changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform health-care related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of registered nurses and physiotherapists.
• Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
• Advise, support and/or attend in the appropriate personal care of Service Users
• Advise, support and or undertake the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals
• Support or undertake household duties such as washing & ironing etc.
• Maintain Service Users confidentiality, respect, privacy and dignity always
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• Essential requirement: You must be a residence in the UK and have a valid right to work.

Previous care experience is greatly welcomed but training will be provided.
