Overview

There are a number of posts for ENT clinic and General Surgical Clinic at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Full time and part time posts will be considered. We are looking for people with or without experience in care to join our busy hospital to care for our patients. We will teach you everything you need to know and all we ask is that you are a caring and kind person with a genuine desire to help and support our patients by providing exceptional care. You will join one of our dynamic and caring teams and work alongside colleagues including Healthcare Support Workers and registered Nurses. Posts will be based in the Ears Nose and Throat clinic and Surgical Outpatients at Doncaster Royal Infirmary with working hours between 8:00 and 17:30, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide a positive experience to patients and their relatives at times of need.
• Support patients in various ways, including personal care as required, while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Communicate sympathetically with patients and distressed relatives and care for patients who are very sick.
