MUST BE HAPPY WITH 0 HOURS Contract

  • Week days £13.50ph
  • Saturdays £14.25 ph
  • Sundays £15.00 ph
  • Bank holidays £27.00 ph
  • Holiday pay

The Role

  • To support people to live as independently as possibly.
  • Assist with all activities of daily living, including personal care through to complex care.
  • Facilitate in and accompany on day trips and in fun activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of meals and or other food and drink.
  • Sitting and companionship services.
  • Assist out in the community such as taking service users to essential appointments and assist with everyday activities such as shopping or medication collections.
  • Undertake light housework tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, washing, ironing, and dusting.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records.
  • Ensure health, safety and well-being of the service users and themselves.
  • Maintain regular and courteous contact with the branch manager.

The Requirements

  • Reliable with an excellent work ethic.
  • Provide the highest standards of care and support.
  • Respect the individuality and confidentiality of the service users.
  • Respect the service user’s independence and authority, be mindful of their wishes and to always treat them with fairness and courtesy.
  • Ensure and adhere to strict standards of health and safety thereby ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the service users and themselves at all times.
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Have a valid driving licence, own transport with business insurance

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience is advantageous, however not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

-experience in Complex care, Palliative and EOL

-Dementia, Mental Health, Autism, Learning Disabilities

-drivers with access to own car

-right to work in UK ( we are waiting for license)

-live in Bury St Edmunds and surrounded areas, Sudbury, Thetford, Brandon, Newmarket, Mildenhall

Minimum one-hour calls, full time, part time, mornings, evenings, days, nights, live in.

Depends on clients needs but usually our working hours are between 07.00am and 22.00pm
