Job summary

A dedicated care provider in Telford is seeking a Care Practitioner for night shifts to assist residents with personal care and provide emotional support. Job description
Care Practitioner (Nights). Telford Hall Care Home
  • £12.28 per hour
  • 4 nights per week (44 hour contract) available
  • 7pm - 7am shifts
  • Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship

With outstanding facilities including a salon serene lounges garden rooms a cinema and a tea room we create a supportive and enriching space for both residents and our valued team.

At Telford Hall we pride ourselves on delivering specialized nursing palliative and dementia care focused on enhancing each resident’s well‑being and helping them achieve a fulfilled life. Guided by an experienced management team our compassionate care assistants are dedicated to making a real difference. Through our extensive activities program and strong community ties we support residents in building meaningful relationships that foster a warm homelike atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Completing any necessary training and development programs
  • Assisting residents with personal care hygiene and mobility support during nighttime hours
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Encouraging residents to engage in activities that enhance their quality of life and respect their individual preferences
  • Ensuring a safe, clean and nurturing environment for all residents
  • Working collaboratively with the team to meet our residents' nighttime care needs

  • Overtime is paid for working over full‑time hours. However overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as the manager's decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8‑hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
