Home Manager - 36-Bed Residential Care Home

Location: Watford

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We're currently recruiting for an experienced, stable, and qualified Home Manager to lead a well-established, 36-bed residential care home that supports older people and individuals with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex care needs. The last CQC inspection (2019) rated the home 'Good' across the board, and we are looking for the right leader to maintain and build on those standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a well-established, 36-bed residential care home that supports older people and individuals with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex care needs
  • Maintain and build on the home’s standards (the last CQC inspection rated the home 'Good' across the board)
  • Manage the service to high standards with autonomy
  • Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, safeguarding, and staff leadership
Qualifications
  • A proven Registered Manager with at least 5 years' experience managing residential or dementia care homes
  • A Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health & Social Care - essential
  • A stable career history - no job-hoppers. Serious applicants only
  • Someone confident, assertive, and capable of hitting the ground running
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, and staff leadership
  • Experience with palliative care, ABI, bariatric care, Parkinson's, COPD, and stroke is a bonus
