Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate care staff to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements.
  • Contribute to care planning, staff training, and performance monitoring.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
Qualifications and experience
  • Previous experience as a Senior Carer, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager in a residential or dementia care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
  • NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in Health & Social Care; Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
