Job description

At Autonomy Care, we believe that quality care starts with meaningful connections — between support workers, service users, families, and the coordinators who keep everything running smoothly.

As our new Care Coordinator, you'll become a central figure in a values-led team that enables people to live with dignity, independence and safety in the comfort of their own homes.

If you’re a calm, organised problem-solver with care sector experience and a desire to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

This is more than just a scheduling job — it’s a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the needs of both people receiving care and those delivering it, and can balance empathy with efficiency.

You'll
  • Use specialist scheduling software to plan and coordinate care visits
  • Communicate clearly with service users, families, and support workers to keep everyone informed
  • Respond swiftly to changes and challenges — adapting plans when needed
  • Keep digital records updated and accurate
  • Work closely with the care management team to ensure smooth, person-centred service delivery
Your working pattern
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
  • On-call participation
What makes you the right fit?

We’re looking for someone who brings both heart and skill to their work.

You’ll need
  • Experience using rota systems such as Deputy or Access
  • At least 1 year senior experience in the care sector
  • Brilliant organisational and multitasking skills
  • A calm and resilient mindset – especially under pressure
  • Excellent digital, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence
Why join us?

We know that care work takes care — so we support our team with meaningful benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £28,500 (inclusive of on-call payments)
  • Blue Light Card: discounts on hundreds of high street and online brands
  • 24/7 confidential advice line
  • Accredited Positive Behaviour Support Training
  • Mental Health First Aiders on hand when you need them
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • A values-led, people-first working culture
