Qualifications

Overview

Weekend hours, offering WEEKLY PAY, available within a beautiful Care Home in the Derby area.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high standard of care
• Following individual support plans
• Personal care
• Moving and handling
• Completing company paperwork
• Completing light household duties

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
• Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
• Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
• Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home
• Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Hours and Pay

This is an ongoing role with potential for a permanent position. You will be working from 2100 to 0700, with hours available on Saturdays and Sundays. The rate of pay for this role is:

• £12.75 per hour (Days)
• £13.25 per hour (Nights)
