Qualifications

  • Safeguarding training within 1 year.
  • Infection Control training within 1 year.
  • Moving and Handling training within 1 year.
  • A DBS check for adult services dated within the last 12 months.
  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Support elderly service users who have a range of physical and mental illnesses/disabilities, working alongside established teams to deliver excellent care.
  • Assist with residents’ activities of daily living, including personal care, moving/handling, and meeting nutritional and hygiene needs.
  • Be proactive on the job and maintain an awareness and passion for working with people with dementia.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Safeguarding training within 1 year
  • Infection Control training within 1 year
  • Moving and Handling training within 1 year
  • A DBS check for adult services dated within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service
  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment

QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with training that has expired. Additionally, we can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service.

Hours & Location
  • Role for ongoing hours
  • Working on Saturdays or Sundays with typical hours being:
  • 07:00 to 14:15
  • 14:00 to 22:00
  • 22:00 to 07:00
Compensation
  • £12.75 per hour (Days)
  • £13.25 per hour (Nights)
