We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Care Assistant to join our award-winning team.

About the role

Your focus as a Care Assistant is to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene to promote independence, dignity and respect.
  • Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalating identified risks promptly.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practising safe systems of work across tasks.

To be successful, you should align with our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable. Experience is not required, as Avery offers a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence in the role.
