This role as a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Bournville offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents through compassionate and dedicated care. The role involves assisting residents with personal care, recognizing clinical risks, and practicing safe work practices.
As a Care Assistant, your focus will be on delivering high standards of personal care and contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene while maintaining their independence, dignity, and respect, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors. The role requires effective communication, initiative, respect, and the ability to carry out instructions and adapt to cover a range of responsibilities.
