Overview

Flexible, local work within the Alfreton area for experienced Care Assistants. We have a fantastic opportunity for flexible work in a friendly care home offering short-term residential support to elderly residents with a variety of age-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care tailored to each resident’s individual needs alongside a dedicated team.
• Provide personal care to both male and female residents.
• Assist with mobility using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas.
• Serve meals based on dietary requirements.
• Complete light domestic duties.
• Record basic information such as fluid intake.

Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.
• Up-to-date mandatory training.
• Full up-to-date CV with employment history.
• At least 2 years’ referenceable experience in formal care settings.
• Ability to provide reference details for two previous care employers, including the most recent.

You will be working from 07:00 to 14:15 on days throughout the week.

You will be paid £12.21 per hour, increasing to £13.33 per hour after 13 weeks.
