Overview

As a Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:
Undertaking any necessary training Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities Providing emotional support and companionship Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focused on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities Maintaining high standards within the care home environment Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

Salary and hours: £12.38 per hour; 33 hours (3 days) or 44 hours (4 days) per week including weekend working. Shifts: 8am to 8pm. Please note this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support residents with daily activities and routines
• Support residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life based on individual hobbies, preferences, and abilities
• Maintain high standards within the care home environment
• Work flexibly as part of a team to meet residents' needs
• Support residents emotionally and provide companionship

Qualifications

• A positive outlook and a warm personality
• Prior experience in a relevant social care position
• Flexibility to work shift patterns according to residentsulfilment and needs
