Overview

Avery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes, committed to creating meaningful experiences for residents and team members. They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join their award-winning team on a bank/temporary basis, working night shifts.

Job responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, supporting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections) and escalate identified risks promptly.
  • Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality.
  • Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Your focus as Care Assistant is to deliver high standards of personal care and work as part of the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

Shift details - 19:15 to 07:15 - Bank shifts, Nights
