28 hours per week, includesevery other weekend

7 am - 2 pm and 2 pm – 9 pm

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team in a specialist dementia care home. This role is vital in supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort, and joy. You’ll be part of a compassionate team that makes a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of residents living with dementia.
  • Assist with daily living activities including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Support residents during mealtimes, ensuring nutritional needs are met with dignity.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow care plans.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control.
  • Foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents and their families.
