About the Home

Sutton Park Grange is a stunning luxurious 56 bedded residential and dementia care home in Sutton Coldfield.

Role and Staffing

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable care assistants to join our care team on an "as and when" basis to cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness. Rotas are planned in advance so you will be given notice of days/weeks to be covered, which will include day and/or night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Care for residential and dementia residents on night shifts, supporting their wellbeing and safety.
  • Work as part of a close-knit team to promote choice, individuality and independence for residents at all times.
  • Follow care plans, document care accurately, and communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualifications; if not, willingness to attend.
  • Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
