Right now, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at our care home. Whether we're providing long or short-term, convalescence, respite or palliative care, our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.
As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, responsibilities include supporting the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of residents. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Delivering care that truly comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. This includes helping those with limited mobility, providing emotional support, and caring for residents at the end of their lives, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training, with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
