Overview

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contribute fully to the care team, and ensure continuity of services to residents. You will assist residents with personal hygiene, recognise clinical risk areas, and practice safe systems of work. About the role

Package Description: Shift details: full-time and part-time shifts are available. Part-time shifts are from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM or 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Job responsibilities

• Assisting residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalating identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
