Overview

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Highgate.

Signature at Highgate are holding Recruitment Open Days on Friday 3rd October and Saturday 4th October from 10am to 3pm. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
• Help residents make their apartments feel like home and participate in their favourite activities with them, such as bingo, shopping and live music.
• Develop strong relationships with residents and their families.
• Respect residents’ choices, dignity and independence, and be integral to developing residents’ Care Plans, including being aware of any specialist support needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• No prior experience required to become a Care Assistant; good written and verbal communication and some IT skills are important.
• An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.
