A leading retirement community provider is seeking a Care Assistant to join their team in Chislehurst. This role involves delivering high-quality care and support to residents living in a retirement living environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, housekeeping, and promoting wellbeing. Candidates should have a warm personality, customer service skills, and a passion for caring for older individuals. A qualification in health and social care is preferred but not essential. McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional Care Assistant to join the team at our Shepherds House Retirement Living Plus development in Chislehurst Bromley.
Built in 2018 and consisting of 40 apartments Shepherds House encourages independent living for the over 70s that may or may not need care.
Hourly rate : 13.61 per hour plus earn up to an additional 1.30 for working evenings and weekends.
Hours : 16 hours per week
As a Care Assistant you will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents enabling them to live later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate including apartment cleans. Duties will be varied and include supporting and encouraging our residents to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. You will help them to book appointments arrange transport and where necessary escort them on visits and assist with their shopping. Every day will be diverse and you'll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
