Job summary

A healthcare provider in Farnborough is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join their team. This role involves assisting nursing staff with patient care tasks, providing information and ensuring patient wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2 and preferably some experience in an acute healthcare environment. You'll work 3 x 7.5-hour shifts per week, including weekends and evenings, and enjoy a competitive pay rate of £13.00 to £15.00 per hour.

Overview

We're looking for a caring and motivated Healthcare Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care within our Treatment Centre. Working under the supervision of Nurse Practitioners, you'll play a key role in assisting with day‑to‑day clinical activities, supporting patient flow, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all. This is a great opportunity to develop your clinical skills and contribute meaningfully to patient wellbeing. 3 x 7.5‑hour shifts over a 7‑day week – a fair share of weekends (1 in 3) and evenings. Early shift 07:30‑15:30, late shift 14:00‑22:00.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting registered nursing staff with a range of patient care tasks
  • Supporting Review Clinics, Fracture Clinics and Plaster Technicians
  • Providing patient information, advice and excellent customer care
  • Demonstrating and measuring walking aids
  • Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
  • Working alongside Nurse Practitioners in See & Treat
  • Completing all required annual mandatory training
  • Upholding safety, infection control and data protection standards at all times
Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 2 achieved

Shift Details

3 x 7.5‑hour shifts per week, 7‑day week. Fair share of weekends and evenings (early or late shift).
