Care Assistant — Isle of Wight

Salary: £26,000 - £28,500. Pay rate: £12.50 to £13.50 per hour.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? CSM Care is looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated individuals to join our team of Domiciliary Care Workers. You’ll support clients in their own homes, helping them live independently and with dignity while providing exceptional care and companionship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respectful and dignified personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and the safe use of equipment.
  • Support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
  • Administer or prompt medication according to care plans.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies.
About You
  • Naturally caring, patient, and empathetic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Willing to travel between clients’ homes.
Requirements
  • No formal qualifications required – full training provided.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
  • Enhanced DBS check (required).
  • Right to work in the UK.
