Overview

We’re looking for domiciliary carer assistants to join our visiting care team, providing high-quality, person-centred care in Cookham and surrounding areas.

Please note, you must be a driver with use of a car as our clients live in rural areas not accessible by public transport. You must also have the right to work in the UK without the use of sponsorship.

About the role

As an hourly / domiciliary care assistant, you\'ll use your skills and compassion to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You\'ll provide personalised care during home visits, with calls lasting a minimum of one hour to ensure quality support and meaningful connections. Your day might involve a variety of meaningful tasks, such as:

  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Safely administering medication
  • Preparing and cooking nutritious meals
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with household tasks and light gardening
  • Running errands, including collecting prescriptions
  • Supporting mobility and transfers
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social activities
  • Helping with pet care
What you’ll bring

We’re looking for compassionate and experienced carers who share our values of trust, compassion, respect, and knowledge. To thrive in this role, you\'ll need:

  • A valid driver\'s license and access to your own car – our clients live in rural areas not accessible by public transport
  • Previous professional care experience is beneficial but not required — e.g. domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, or personal healthcare assistant
  • Flexibility to work at least one of the following shifts: 07:00–11:00, 07:00–15:00, 16:00–22:00, 18:00–22:00

Our clients live in Amersham, Marlow, Beaconsfield, the Chalfonts, Wendover, Great Missenden and surrounding areas, so you will need to live near one of these locations.

We do not offer Visa Sponsorship or Certificates of Sponsorship - you must have the right to work in the UK.

All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our commitment to safeguarding.
