Overview

AtHome Instead Ivybridge we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for caring, friendly individuals to help us support people to stay independent in their own home.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking to recruit a Part-time or Full-time Care Professionals to work in South Brent and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Support Worker:

  • Offering warmth and care during visits
  • Enhance the home atmosphere by aiding in household chores and meal preparations
  • Help clients cherish their time with you, sharing in activities such as reading or watching favourite TV shows
  • Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed
  • Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort
