The project manager is a key role in delivering 'Your Future Hospital', an ambitious plan to transform patient care at Dorset County Hospital (DCH) by modernising the hospital estate. As part of the government's 'New Hospital Programme' DCH is making the biggest investment and expansion of the hospital estate since the late 1990s. The programme will deliver a new 'masterplan' for the hospital, including a new Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit; an outpatient diagnostic and assessment centre and a new main entrance. This is a once in a generation opportunity to take part in modernising your local hospital.
The strategic estates team at DCH transform the way care is delivered by providing modern and fit for purpose estate. Team members have a range of skills and backgrounds, including project management, change management, estates, and clinical and health service management.
This small and dynamic team work with a range of professionals, including: clinicians; architects; engineers; communications; HR and finance.
