More detail about the role As a Cancer Multidisciplinary Coordinator (MDTc), you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care by ensuring the efficient coordination of multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and tracking patient pathways, acting as a key liaison between clinical teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders, the MDTc helps to facilitate timely decision-making and treatment planning for cancer patients. Responsibilities include, MDT meetings, managing patient data, ensuring compliance with National Cancer Targets, and maintaining clear communication between departments. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. By ensuring adherence to established processes and supporting clinical teams, you contribute directly to improving patient outcomes and the smooth operation of cancer services. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that plays a vital role in cancer care. You will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes by ensuring a seamless and efficient MDT process. The post holder will fulfil all administration tasks and work as part of a team and has responsibility for a MDT tumour sites. To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other administrative areas as appropriate as directed by the line manager. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week.
