Your impact

This role will reporting into the Electronic Warfare Line of Business and support Director of Air Capability through secondment to the Air Capability Directorate. The roleholder will work with the UK MOD to define the joint programme of work for Air Platform Protection (APP) and Electronic Warfare (EW) under Leonardo’s Sovereign Partnering Agreement (SPA).

What you’ll bring

• Work within Air Capability to lead and coordinate planning process for the Air Platform Protection programme of work.
• Development and execution of strategies to generate interest and consensus on Air Platform protection requirements across the Defence Enterprise
• Lead the preparation of briefing materials for APP SPA meetings and governance groups
• Develop and maintain relationships with the other Industrial Partners who operate under the APP SPA.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key technical, programmatic and commercial stakeholders across Leonardo’s Electronics Lines of Businesses
• Utilise Leonardo internal company procedures to ensure that issues are identified, tracked and accurately reported to senior management.
• Provide input to and support for marketing & communications (MARCOM) events such as shows, exhibitions, demonstrations, conferences, etc as planned and directed.
• Where required travel to key coalition partner nations and NATO to facilitate sharing of APP requirements
