Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Greenwich is seeking a CAMHS Specialist to support children and young people with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based interventions and manage a defined caseload, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The position offers a fixed term contract or a permanent role, with a competitive salary range of £44,485 to £52,521 pro rata per annum.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years post registration experience in a mental health setting, preferably in CAMHS.
  • Experience working with children.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and assess care quality.
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

Skills

Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate risk/care plans to meet the needs of clients.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to maintain and manage own workload autonomously
Willingness to develop specialist knowledge of child & adolescent mental health
Ability to analyse and manage risks

Education

RN Mental Health/LD / Social Work qualification/ Art therapist/ Occupational therapy
