Locum CAMHS Practitioner – Neurodevelopmental Focus
Location: Rochdale (NHS Service)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Type: Locum (Temporary)
Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour (via umbrella)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a CAMHS Practitioner to join a well-established NHS service in Rochdale. This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct both urgent and routine mental health assessments for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs
  • Carry out neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and ASC as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS and CQC standards
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and safeguarding processes
  • Provide support and guidance to families and carers
Essential Requirements:
  • Professional registration with NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England
  • Experience working within a CAMHS or paediatric mental health setting
  • Proven experience in neurodevelopmental assessments (ADHD/ASC)
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
