Overview

Position Title: CAD Engineer. Duration: Contract. Location: Milton Keynes. Inside IR35, 50 hours per week. Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.

Role

We are recruiting for a leading motorsport automotive company seeking a NX CAD Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• 3D routing of complex wiring looms within confined vehicle packaging spaces.
• Integration of electrical systems into composite structures.
• Collaboration with mechanical and electrical teams to resolve clashes and optimise routing.
• Delivery of robust, lightweight, production-ready CAD data and manufacturing drawings.

Qualifications / Essentials

• Siemens NX expert user with 3D harness routing and electrical packaging experience.
• Motorsport or SVO background; comfortable working at speed with minimal hand-holding.
• Proven ability to work within extremely tight packaging tolerances.
• Designing within and around composite enclosures and structures.
• Familiarity with system 25, Motorsport-grade connectors, sensors, and assemblies.
