Overview

Are you a talented CAD/BIM Technician with strong Revit and AutoCAD skills? Our client, a leading multi‑disciplinary consultancy in Edinburgh, is seeking a skilled individual to support their Civil & Structural Engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Create and model C&S drawings and Revit models from hand sketches and engineer layouts.
  • Manage incoming design documentation—filing, archiving, and ensuring smooth plot workflows.
  • Uphold BIM/CAD standards, layering practices, and quality across all produced drawings.
  • Support general engineering admin: scanning, PDF conversion, drawing setup, and publishing.
  • Maintain and improve Revit, AutoCAD, Word, and Excel proficiency to meet evolving project needs.
Qualifications
  • Possess a HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Hands-on experience in CAD/BIM drafting within civil or structural engineering.
  • Attention to detail, organisation, and a good grasp of CAD/BIM protocols.
  • Confident using Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Word/Excel essential.
  • Ideally experienced in Civil & Structural disciplines.
