We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Buying Assistant to support an experienced Homewares Buyer across multiple lifestyle and retail brands. If you love variety, work well under pressure, and aren't afraid to get stuck in, keep reading.

What you'll be doing:

One day you're managing supplier orders and maintaining detailed Excel spreadsheets. The next, you're organising samples for photo shoots or prepping products for range reviews. It's fast-paced, practical, and never dull. You'll also be writing product descriptions, handling warehouse queries, and keeping the Buying team running smoothly day‑to‑day.

What we need from you:
  • Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Great written English (you'll be crafting product copy)
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and hit tight deadlines
  • A team player with a can‑do attitude
  • A genuine interest in buying, product development or retail
  • Full UK driving licence (we're in a rural location)
The setup:

3 days a week in our Oxfordshire office (hybrid), permanent contract, £25,000 starting salary. We're ready to move quickly for the right person.
