Job summary

A global manufacturer in Belfast is seeking a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will manage procurement tasks, supplier relationships, and support ERP system transitions. Full-time onsite for the first 6 months with potential for contract extension or permanent opportunities.

Your new role

• Execute daily procurement tasks and manage supplier relationships
• Handle manual spreadsheet work and support ERP system transition
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services for production
• Negotiate pricing and maintain accurate cost data
• Collaborate with internal departments and attend project meetings
• Support stock control and participate in annual stocktake

• Recent experience in a purchasing role (within the last 3 years)
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage manual systems
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
