Overview

We are hiring for the Butler - Fixed Term Contract. The Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel is located in London, near Hyde Park, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the city’s chic dining scene. The hotel features 251 accommodations with skyline and park views, and suites that include Butler service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service and attention to fulfill all guest needs, including delivering coffee and tea upon request.
  • Prepare notes of new arrivals and communicate important preferences to the entire hotel operation.
  • Coordinate with the front desk to prepare VIP rooms and escort early arrivals; be present at guest check-in to anticipate needs.
  • Complete the butler flags in local systems by the reservation, sales and other departments and send pre-arrival emails.
  • Escort VIP guests to their rooms in coordination with the front desk.
  • Work closely with Guest Services and Engineering on guest requests; manage laundry requests and ensure prompt delivery and return of laundry items.
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance; protect proprietary information and company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately; answer telephones with proper etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
