Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Business Support Officer to assist with administration in the Youth Justice Service. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of information, updating the Child View system, and supporting Youth Justice Service Workers with KPI recording. Candidates should have previous experience in a business admin role, be NVQ Level 1 qualified in Business Administration, and have strong Microsoft Office skills. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and is onsite in Oldbury.

We are looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate, committed and dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people in the Youth Justice System. We are recruiting for a Business support officer.

The role is to support with the administration in Youth Justice Service.

Job Title: Business support officer

Location: Oldbury

Duration: Contract

Salary: 13.26 - 13.90 p.h

Working hours: 5 days a week onsite

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency of information
  • Updating the Child View system
  • Supporting YJS Workers in updating systems to meet KPI recording
  • Prioritising incoming post and messages and alerting officers & practitioners to matters which require attention.
  • Maintaining files and record systems including scanning and uploading of documents.
  • Ensuring that tasks allocated are completed accurately and within allocated timescale.
Requirements
  • Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role.
  • Will hold NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience of Childview / YJS systems would be advantageous
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to plan & organise diaries.
  • A standard DBS check will be required for this role.
