The Role

As a Business Studies Teacher, you'll deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. You'll make the subject engaging and relevant by helping students understand the world of business, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach GCSE and A-Level classes, adapting lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

• Collaborate with colleagues in the Business and Economics department to maintain high teaching standards

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome to apply)
• Have recent experience Business Studies at secondary level (KS4/KS5)
• Be confident in classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching business concepts
• Be organised, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development
• Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
