A thriving secondary school is seeking an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join their Social Sciences and Vocational department and motivate students to understand how businesses work and succeed. Beginning ASAP

Duties as a Business Studies Teacher:

• Plan, prepare and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum and relevant exam board specifications.
• Set, mark and assess classwork, homework and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support student progress.
• Use real-world case studies and current business trends to bring lessons to life and encourage critical thinking.
• Track and monitor pupil attainment, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents and senior leaders.
• Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and collaborate with colleagues across the Social Sciences department.
• Organise or support enrichment opportunities such as enterprise clubs, guest speakers, or educational visits.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and whole-school events.

Ideal Business Studies Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies, with the ability to teach up to A-level.
• A passion for making business concepts practical and exciting for students.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills as Business Studies Teacher.
