A leading accountancy recruitment firm is seeking an ambitious Manager in Leeds to manage a portfolio of clients and develop a high-performing team. The role involves ensuring quality service delivery and fostering strong client relationships while coaching team members. Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be finishing the year working with one of the most exciting firms in Yorkshire looking to bring in an ambitious Manager to take ownership of a fantastic portfolio of clients.
As a key leader within an award-winning digital accountancy practice, you will take ownership of the performance and success of your own client portfolio. You’ll lead from the front in building strong, trusted client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and driving sustainable growth whilst maximising client retention.
You’ll inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team, empowering them to consistently deliver outstanding across the portfolio. By setting clear expectations, providing direction and holding your team accountable, you’ll create an environment where people thrive. You’ll also ensure your team has access to the right support, training and development to achieve both personal success and exceptional client outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivery of your own portfolio in line with firm standards including, client meetings, relevant preparation, on time delivery etc
Delivery of the numbers report and reviewing work from your team before being passed to a client
Monitor the production performance and delivery of the team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Lead through the team when it comes to action and ensure that they are held accountable on delivery timescales.
Review and provide feedback on the quality of work produced ensuring maintenance of high standards
Sign off and review of produced accounts
Prioritise workloads, respond to queries and identify further training requirements
